Field Day in Verona

Farmers and people from the agricultural industry came to experience Field Day in Verona. Dr. Lester Spell, Commissioner of Agriculture, was the main speaker during lunch.

Farmers were informed on new variety’s of seeds and chemicals and what insects to watch out for. It was a good field day and was beneficial to the farmers.

Mississippi Land Bank sponsored the Ice Cream, and representative from the Tupelo and Houston offices worked the exhibit booth.
