Who we are

For over 100 years, Mississippi Land Bank has been one of the premier lenders for land in the northern 32 counties of Mississippi. From a homesite with a few acres to an agriculture or hunting property with a few thousand acres – we offer long-term financing for land purchases and refinancing, and we have the knowledge and expertise to meet your financing needs. We also offer financing and refinancing solutions for many other needs that go along with the ownership of rural properties.

Mississippi Land Bank is a part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, a financial cooperative owned by its member-borrowers since 1916. Unlike commercial banking institutions, because of our unique cooperative structure, the member-borrowers of Mississippi Land Bank share in the profits generated from our lending activity in the form of patronage dividends. This can significantly reduce the cost of borrowing for our member-borrowers.

what we do

At Mississippi Land Bank, our lenders are land experts. Whether the property you're looking to finance is agricultural, recreational, or residential, this is your place. If you farm a few hundred or several thousand acres, we can help with your operating and equipment needs, as well. Looking for the perfect hunting property or timber tract? We can help. Maybe your goal is to move out to the country and build your family's dream home? We can help with that, too. If you're ready to talk to a loan officer, give us a call. Or fill out our contact form and someone will reach out to you.
