    In May 2023, the Mississippi Land Bank Board of Directors named Rebecca "Becky" Beard as board-elected director. Ms. Beard was born and raised in Sardis, Mississippi, and graduated from the University of Mississippi. Since 1996, we've returned over $61 million in patronage to our stockholders. This means a decrease in our borrowers' effective interest rate for 2022 by approximately 83 basis points (0.83%).
